GENERALITIES
Commune of Chile Boy The commune of Chile Boy locates in the bank Southeast of the lake General Carrera, has a surface of 4.669 square km and a population of 3.757 inhabitants. His territory spreads from the border with Argentina up to the limit of the Field of North Ice. The capital of the commune is the city of Chile Boy and his peoples and more important towns are: Fachinal, Mallín Grande, Port Guadal and Port Bertrand. The commune is characterized by the contrasts of his scenery, the arid of the pampa with the fruit-bearing trees and avenues, of his farms in flat and fertile vales, which make think that one is in the central zone of Chile. The lake General Carrera is kept present in almost the whole commune provoking a microclimate with agreeable temperatures and a fall pluviosidad, near to 250 mm per year. His climate, the lake and the kindness of his agriculture have given him to Chile Boy the name of " City of the Sun ".
PORT BERTRAND
Beautiful Locality located on the banks of the Rio Baker, it is an excellent place to realize walks in boat, rafting, in the same river, jaunts of fishing, and to different glaciers. It possesses basic services and excellent accommodations. He is to approximately 142 km, of Chile Boy and 294 of Coyhaique, for a way of refuse and accessibly.
PORT GUADAL

CAVE OF THE HANDS
Located to approximately 20 km, of Chile Boy, bordering on the river Jeinimeni. Approximately 1.300 meters are raised to come to the cave, a trajectory of more or less 3 hours walking. The Panoramic one is simply excellent.
LOOKOUT CLOSED FLAGS

LAKE GENERAL CARRERA
