The commune of Santa Barbara is located in the province of the Biobío, in VIII the region to 42 km of the city of Los Angeles. Their limits are the communes of Quilleco and Antuco by the North, the one of Quilaco and the Region of the Araucanía by the South, Los Angeles by the West and the Argentine Republic by the East.
