The journey starts visiting the civic quarter noted for the Moneda Palace. The Pre-Columbian museum surprises us with its wide range art sample, related to the origin of the American man's culture. The National Historical Museum and the Fine Arts Museum are other existing beauties of Santiago downtown. We cannot leave without visiting the Santa Lucia hill, foundation site of Santiago.
Departure from the hotel. The tour starts at the traditional Hotel Carrera Hotel, at the heart of the Civic Quarter of the city. From this location, it visits the Plaza de la Constitución and La Moneda, the Government Palace. Then, the tour proceeds to the República Quarter, passing in front the Club Hípico and the Cousiño Palace. Crossing the Alameda Bernardo O?Higgins, the major avenue of the capital, it continues to visit the pre-Columbian Museum. Afterwards, it proceeds to the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral and then the Santa Lucía Hill, the city?s foundation site. The excursion heads toward the eastern section to observe the residential neighborhoods of Las Condes and Providencia, and it concludes at the lapis lazuli fine craftsmanship and jewelry shop of Faba. Return to the hotels.
