Puerto Varas, The Rose City |

Known as the "Rose City", lies on the banks of Lake Llanquihue. It has a privileged view of the volcano Osorno and Calbuco. It is characterized by ancient constructions of the last century, surrounded by gardens. There are casino games. You can go to the beach Niklitschek, located 7 km. and surrounded by nature, or make a trip to Peulla to know the break of Petrohue and navigate the Lake Todos Los Santos. Here, indeed, there are cruises for romantic, with sailing and other night, with open bar. It is also possible to MAKE THE Crossing lakes, crossing by Peulla and getting to Bariloche (Argentina).
If you prefer action,you can ascend the Osorno volcano, rafting or kayaking in the Petrohue River and in the surrounding areas, parades and fly fishing. This area highlights also for its exquisite pastries, based on recipes German kuchenes and jams.
